I recently got a chance to hang out with some of the world best photographers on Trey Ratcliff’s Variety show on TWIT TV. We take turns talking about travel photography and show off some neat photos from around the world. The whole show is interesting, however if you want to jump to my section it is near the end @ around 1:04:00. You can also check out more of Trey’s amazing work at HERE

I have been living in in San Francisco now for about 2 weeks, and it’s really started to grow on me.  The people are relaxed and interesting to talk with, and the food is amazing. Here is a shot from Baker Beach looking at the bridge.

It is amazing, to see the effect that these enormous redwoods have on people. People often just stand there and stare in total awe.

I just landed in San Francisco on Sunday, and I will be studying to become a travel Jedi for the next 6 weeks. I am going to work for a boutique airline agency that sells long haul airline tickets and works with most of the major airlines. Today they crammed my head full of roughly 40 websites and information on 50 airlines. I am a bit overwhelmed, but I am also really excited to become a true flying expert.

Does anyone have any favorite spots in SFO, that I should check out while I am here? Let me know in the comments.

The Castle on the Hill.
This photo I took last year while in Budapest, which quickly became one of my favorite cities. They have some of the coolest churches and bridges in Europe and they do a great job of lighting them up at night.

A tutorial on Round the World Airline Tickets.

I first started my dream of long term travel, when I stumbled across a site selling Round The World Airline tickets.  I discovered you can buy $10,000 to $20,000 worth of airfare, for $2000 to $4000 by buying it from a discounter. To show how easy it is I made this quick Tutorial. You can check out the Airtreks website HERE.

The Castle Road

July 24, 2012

My first experience with Prague was  a little rocky. As soon as I got off the train, a cab driver tried to charge me 50 Euros to drive me 3 miles. I tried some intense haggling and even physically walking away. I eventually got them down to to 40 Euros and made it to my […]

The Terra-Cotta Warriors. Xi’an, China

July 24, 2012

Can you imagine being made emperor of China at the age of 13? I admit it could have gone to my head a bit. At one time China was just a bunch of separate states. After being crowned at the age of 13, Zhao Zheng is the emperor who conquered all them all and unified China. He had over 10,000 life size terra-cotta warriors built to guard him in the afterlife. It took 720,000 people to build […]

Rock Your World. Venice Italy

One of the worlds best violin players once stood at a subway station in New York and played for an hour. In spite of having sold out the Carnegie hall the night before at $300 a ticket almost everyone completely ignored him and kept on walking. This video I shot while wandering the streets of […]
