I have been living in in San Francisco now for about 2 weeks, and it’s really started to grow on me. The people are relaxed and interesting to talk with, and the food is amazing. Here is a shot from Baker Beach looking at the bridge.

It is amazing, to see the effect that these enormous redwoods have on people. People often just stand there and stare in total awe.
My first experience with Prague was a little rocky. As soon as I got off the train, a cab driver tried to charge me 50 Euros to drive me 3 miles. I tried some intense haggling and even physically walking away. I eventually got them down to to 40 Euros and made it to my hotel. Once I got out into the city and started walking around though I saw why people love it so much. It really has a unique sort of magic to it. This shot is the road to Prague Castle and is 3 exposures blended together.
Can you imagine being made emperor of China at the age of 13?
I admit it could have gone to my head a bit.
At one time China was just a bunch of separate states. After being crowned at the age of 13, Zhao Zheng is the emperor who conquered all them all and unified China. He had over 10,000 life size terra-cotta warriors built to guard him in the afterlife. It took 720,000 people to build the warriors and his tomb. Unfortunately for them he killed all of the workers as soon as they finished construction, to keep the details of all of his treasure secret.
He also built the great wall and was obsessed with finding a magic potion to become immortal
Tripods are not allowed in the Warrior pit, but I decided to risk it and was able to hide myself
in the crowd of tourists. I shot for like an hour with the tripod and no one ever noticed.

One of the worlds best violin players once stood at a subway station in New York and played for an hour. In spite of having sold out the Carnegie hall the night before at $300 a ticket almost everyone completely ignored him and kept on walking.
This video I shot while wandering the streets of Venice at sunset. The whole thing is good, but they really start going off around 48 seconds into it. If you do not see the video in your browser please click here.
